URMIA 2019, Boston: thanks for the fun, everyone!

Did you attend the annual URMIA Conference, which was held in Boston this year? The KeynectUp Team was eager to attend and welcome clients and partners to our hometown.

Bradley from the KeynectUp Team enjoyed attending quite a few educational sessions during the span of the conference. One of his favorites was the mental health session during the first morning of the conference. Bradley reflects, “that session opened my eyes to the new and growing challenges young people are facing while they pursue an education. The presenters covered data points that would shock most campuses today.”

One of the best aspects of conferences like URMIA is meeting in person with clients who we exclusively talk to digitally or over the phone. Ali from the KeynectUp Team was lucky enough to meet with quite a few KeynectUp clients. When meeting with current clients, Ali showed off new KeynectUp features included in every account, including the new QR code download method. With Fall Semester in full swing, there was also quite a bit of discussion about new students downloading KeynectUp safety cards.

The Team was also lucky enough to spend some time soaking in the view from the conference hotel, the Sheraton. Check out our room’s view of the Charles!

On Tuesday evening, alongside co-hosts On Call International and Empathia, we had a blast throwing a Red Sox pre-game reception. The destination was Summer Shack Boston, where guests sipped on tiki-mug-clad drinks and picked from some of Boston’s finest seafood. Thank you to our co-hosts, as well as all who attended and helped us enjoy the evening!

On Wednesday night, the Evening with the Kennedys event, held at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, was a lovely wrap-up of the conference.

To our partners, clients, and new friends who took the time to meet and catch up with us during URMIA: thank you! We can’t wait for the next chance to get together in person.
